Lake Country Martial Arts follows a carefully constructed curriculum designed to create a well rounded martial artist with a full range of personal safety and self defense skills and an emphasis of character development.  Our curriculum also meets and exceeds the Kukkiwan guidelines for belt promotion in Taekwondo as well as WHA guidelines for belt progression in Hapkido.

Below are links to belt specific curriculum and graduation requirements. The curriculum will describe everything you need to know for testing such as minimum number of classes needed, hand and kicking techniques, the name of your form (poomsae), self-defense, and the academic knowledge and phrases to memorize.  In order to apply for testing you need to turn in 2 forms: a belt specific application, and an age appropriate self assessment. To view how to do your forms check out our POOMSAE page.
